Evenly roll your sugar paste to approximately 3mm thick and cut out your circles. Place a circle of sugar paste over the foam shaper, keeping it as central as possible. Use the warmth of your hands to smooth the sugar paste until it sits neatly and evenly all the way around. You sugar paste dome then sits on top of your cupcake and will remain in place using buttercream - use a swirl just big enough so it doesn't come out underneath the dome.
